A set FP+RB made for the "Collegium Ars Scribendi" from a design by FWC Frunske, inspired by the "Thena", the first ballpen to have been patented on jan.16,1929. Their octogonal body is in "red ripple" hard rubber supplied by the New York Hamburgischen Gummiwaren Companie. The fountain pen is a cartridge/converter filler with a 18k gold nib (M only) featuring the C.A.S. logo; the body is engraved in gold with "Collegium Ars Scribendi 2000. The sets reserved by C.A.S members before 31 dec.2000 bear the Member's number. |
